Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Cooper Lane between Wednesday 16th September 21:30hrs and Thursday 17th September 01:30hrs,  method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Suspect/s have gained entry to the porch and garage by attacking the front door handle and lock barrel. Suspect/s steal e-bike from garage.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
